I received this oil directly from Gya Labs via Amazon. While I am not a naturalist or into homeopathic medicine, per se, I do have very strong olfactory senses and appreciate the fact that different scents will enhance or assist in changing the mood.
This particular essential oil, Oregano, is a soft, subtle herb scent from the Oregano plant. The oil itself can be used as many things, including a mood enhancer, a mood stabilizer, a sedative, and an antidepressant. It's mean to calm and relieve nervous tension, anxiety, restlessness, and mild inflammation. Albeit subtle, it also has some bright notes which help with enhancing your mood.
In addition to these uses, it also (when diffused) can be employed to boost immune function, especially during the cold and flu season, and to support respiratory function to help ease mucus production. Properly diluted (1% or less), oregano may be used topically to enhance immunity and circulation on the head and sinuses, mouth and skin. Oil of oregano is also known for boosting and strengthening immune function and for helping to regulate menstruation.
The scent very easily fills the room with slight heat, using a diffuser, or a lamp that diffuses. The scent works wonderfully, but you can still use it without heat in reed diffusers, stones, and woods, as well.
