So easy, even a 9 year old could carve his own pumpkin without assistance!

The quality of the cutting and scraping utensils in this kit are FAR superior to anything I've found in stores! I'm so happy with this purchase because of that! Not only is the quality second to none, but the variety of cutting tools is amazing!

This kit includes two cutting blades, one a beginner blade, and a second blade that is actually dual-sided for more accuracy and cutting smaller shapes. It also comes with a coring/carving tool that both can cut a perfect, circular hole or use a variety of edges in order to create a pumpkin relief instead of carving the shapes out individually. Along with those tools, it also includes a punch tool for small, individual holes and a scraping tool in order to clean out the interior of your pumpkin. The scraping tool
could probably be just a hair shorter, but it did the job and in a fraction of the time that those plastic handled ones from the name brand company that is sold in every store at Halloween time. They weren't finished, though... There is also a triangular piece for carving a perfect angle and making it as clean as humanly possible, as well as a pair of battery operated safety lights for illuminating the interior of your pumpkin without a flame.

We were so thrilled with the results of the cutting tools that we allowed my best friend's 9 year old son to carve his pumpkin anyway he wanted. The tools were perfectly sized for both children's and adults' hands and while the cutting edges were sharp enough to deal with the meaty texture of the pumpkins interior, they were also safe enough to use without being hurt.

We were absolutely thrilled with their performance and if we are ever in need of replacement, we know where to come!
